Dr. Freda Tyson graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2013 after getting a degree from University of Wisconsin- Madison in 2005 and working as a veterinary technician and in dog training. In fact, it was her dog, Johnson, who introduced her to chiropractic!
Johnson, a Lab/ Basset hound mix was having trouble using his lower back and hind legs. While pain relievers helped, Dr. Freda knew that had to be a better way- a way for him to heal instead of just covering up the pain. Chiropractic was the answer. Not only did Johnson heal, walk better, and get off of pain relievers, he also had a spark and a life energy she had never seen in him before.
While attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Freda was exposed to different adjusting styles and found that a gentle approach was the most respectful of the body while also being the most effective for her. She has received continuing education in QSM3 upper cervical technique, NUCCA upper cervical technique, JointYoga, and SOT pelvic blocking. She brings this knowledge and technique to her patients to provide a loving a gentle approach to chiropractic and healing.
